Overview and purpose of role:

The overall purpose of this role is to establish consistency across all stock processes within Paris and to serve as a senior point of contact in the field, supporting the Retail teams and the Retail Stock Manager Europe.

As
Stock Manager, Paris,
you will oversee all stock processes, ensuring a consistent and uniform approach across our Paris locations, including the external warehouse. In partnership with Retail and the Retail Stock Manager Europe, you will ensure effective stock management and the smooth running of back-of-house operations. You will share accountability for the outcomes of all Paris inventories.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

- Oversee Retail to ensure effective stock control.

- Support Retail to perform weekly cycle counts, and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner.

- Partner closely with the wider business on all stock related matters, building strong working relationships.

- Communicate stock issues or concerns to Logistics team and Retail Stock Manager Europe as required.

- Take an active role in training staff across the Paris locations on stock control and best practices.

In line with overall business objectives, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting all Paris locations in the following areas:

  • Supervise daily stock operations between all Parisian boutiques and warehouse, including cycle counts, consolidations, deliveries, transfers, and maintenance of high BOH standards, ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Support Paris locations during Stock members absences to ensure all BOH operations are completed efficiently and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels to ensure maximization of stock capacity.
  • Ensuring monthly cycle counts are performed and submitted in all locations, with all discrepancies reconciled urgently. All related information reported to European Logistics Team.
  • Manage relevant stock areas, including correctly handling deliveries, transfers, of in-coming and out-going stock, effective and commercial planning of deliveries and any seasonal changes to the stockroom organisation and effective management of in store events.
  • Manage faulty, damaged, odd, and repair stock across all Parisian boutiques, escalating issues to the relevant teams in a timely and meticulous manner, including coordination with the Care & Repair team..
  • Manage the maintenance of all inventory in both the stockroom and on the selling floor, ensuring merchandise is well-organized and complies with brand standards
  • Build strong professional relationships with people both inside and outside the business, develop those relationships to facilitate and impact stock control within the business
  • Motivate and train all relevant employees, including Stock Managers and Stock Controllers, to uphold the highest standards in the stockroom and promote best practices across all locations.
  • Lead and develop the Parisian Stock Team by fostering teamwork, community, and shared responsibility. Take part in recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training efforts.
  • Implement store-level measures to minimize stock loss in line with company procedures and expectations.
  • Participate in and support the organization of company events, including activations and biannual F&F Sample Sales.
  • Ensure full compliance with safety, hygiene, and Retail Excellence standards in all stock handling operations.
  • On occasion as to the business need, to support wider European boutiques for stock reasons.

Skills and Requirements:

In order to deliver the main responsibilities of the role, you will need the following skills:

Technical:

  • Proven experience in a luxury retail or service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of stock control procedures and inventory systems
  • Proficient in Excel and inventory software
  • Familiarity with retail operations and logistics
  • Bilingual:
    French and English.

  • Excellent attention to detail, in order to support the needs of the business

  • Reporting and administration – strong administrative skills, ability to complete weekly stock reports to management accurately and meet deadlines

  • Recruitment of strong new team profiles into the network, building a talent pipeline.
  • Development of strong relationships across the network with all Managers through effective collaboration.
  • On a yearly basis with probably a monthly or quarterly follow-up, you will have a performance review with targets to still improve your performance based on:

  • Team work: you are expected to deliver as part of a team at all times and supporting and mentoring if necessary new team members as required.
  • You are expected to respect Company processes and procedures and follow about security, stock, cash, transfer, shoe-uniform, grooming amongst others.
  • Your manager will be expected to provide you with ongoing appropriate feedback to support your improvement where necessary and appropriate as required.
