Company:Qualcomm France S.A.R.L.Job Area:Engineering Group, Engineering Group > Hardware Applications EngineeringGeneral Summary:This position is for an experienced Engineer familiar with embedded system development, security and/or networking; with a strong technology background, problem solving and communication skills.Focus areas include:BSP: helping customers adapt reference design code/device tree files to their own board design; help customers debug board bring-up issues.Networking: configuring reference design networking code to meet customer-specific protocol requirements; debugging connection/configuration set-up issues; analyzing low-throughput.Security: debug customer issues with generating image signatures and configuring platforms for secure boot, use of secure key management and encrypted file system features; ATF / OP-TEE secure application development and porting.The daily work could include customer training, issue debugging, feature development and project follow-up. The individual will interact with marketing teams, product managers, sales team, and development teams to help resolve customer issues and report project progress.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields.Familiar with TCP/IP and other current Networking protocols (UDP, DHCP, ICMP, Bridging, routing and etc)Must have hands on working experience working on real-time embedded systemsHands-on experience in topics such as networking driver development, Ethernet,  and secure bootStrong programming skills in C/C++Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience with customer support and debugging techniques.Willingness to travel when neededPreferred Qualifications:Experience with embedded processor platforms and Mesh networking solutionKnowledge of embedded SW for Linux, OpenWrt, prprlos, ATF/OP-TEE or RDK-BFamiliar with Linux software debugging & programmingStrong understanding of Linux OS kernel and network/peripheral driversGood team playerAbility to perform under pressureWhat's on Offer:Apart from working in an open, relaxed and collaborative space, you will enjoy:Salary, stock and performance related bonusMaternity/Paternity LeaveEmployee stock purchase schemeMatching pension schemeEducation AssistanceRelocation and immigration supportLife, Medical, Income and Travel InsuranceMinimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Applications Engineering or Hardware Design experience or related work experience.
