Lazard CEE Team is located in Paris, it specializes in mandates in Central and Eastern Europe, CIS, Greece and Turkey. The Team focuses on cross-product (Merger & Acquisitions, Debt Advisory and Restructuring) and cross-sector (TMT, Retail, Healthcare, Transportation, Energy, etc.) engagements.

The CEE Team benefits from a recognized track-record of M&A deals across the whole CEE, CIS, Turkey and Greece geographies, while being based in Paris.

We are seeking an intern from July 2026, for a period of 6 months. This position is based in Paris.

The team is ONLY interested in candidates that are closely connected to the region of Central and Eastern and speak fluently a regional language (Polish, Czech, Romanian, Serbian, Croatian, Russian etc.).

We'll trust you to be involved in:

• Preparation of presentation materials in relation to M&A, ECM, DCM, and sovereign advisory for clients in all major industries
• Performance of company valuations using techniques such as discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, comparable listed companies, or transactions
• Ongoing transactions execution
• Interaction with Lazard bankers' network worldwide to support our clients.

You'll need to have:

• Strong previous experience in Finance or Consulting (internships)
• Excellent academic credentials
• International background coupled with knowledge of the CEE region and local language(s) – Candidates with no fluency in a CEE regional language will not be considered

Non-EU students are expected to manage independently all related administrative and work-permit topics.
