We act as an extension of our clients' commercial teams, turning innovation into commercial success across Europe.

We are now looking for a
Sales Manager
to strengthen our team in Paris.

Your Role

As a
Sales Manager
, you will be in charge of consulting projects, the central point of contact for your clients while coordinating and driving the internal team dedicated to their projects. You will ensure operational excellence, strengthen client satisfaction, and support commercial growth by driving the sales pipeline and closing engagements.

What You Will Do

Drive Commercial Execution for Clients

  • Lead projects where Novoptim manages the full sales cycle on behalf of clients.
  • Engage prospects, qualify opportunities, advance deals through the pipeline, and close commercial agreements.
  • Ensure each client's sales process is understood and applied across the project team.

Coordinate the Project Team

  • Work closely with the marketing consultant, inside sales, and sales consultants assigned to your projects.
  • Align activities across marketing, prospecting, and sales so that opportunities move efficiently through the pipeline.
  • Translate project priorities into clear actions and maintain steady commercial momentum.

Strengthen Sales Capabilities

  • Guide the team in opportunity management and sales best practices.
  • Support junior profiles in developing their ability to manage and progress deals.
  • Contribute to continuously improving our sales approach and methodologies.

Ensure Project Performance & Client Satisfaction

  • Monitor KPIs, pipeline progression, and commercial outcomes.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing clear updates and recommendations.
  • Ensure results, timelines, and expectations are met with professionalism and consistency.

Experience & Skills

  • A scientific background (Master's degree or PhD) with a strong understanding of the Life Sciences sector
  • 2-3 years of experience in a sales role (BD, account management, commercial role).
  • Ability to work in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to interact confidently with senior-level and international stakeholders (C-level).
  • Excellent communication and client relationship-building skills.
  • Organized, rigorous, and structured.
  • Team-oriented with natural leadership and ability to motivate others.
  • High commitment, resilience, and strong active listening.
