Role Description:

Hospitality internships in France for 2nd-year students are designed to bridge theoretical knowledge with professional standards, typically lasting 
6 months

. These placements often focus on "Industrial Training" in core departments to prepare students for future specialization.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Enrollment Status:
   Applicants must be currently enrolled in a hospitality, culinary, or tourism-related degree or diploma program..
• English Proficiency:
   Fluency in English (B2 level or higher) is essential for communicating in professional hospitality environments.
• Professionalism:
   Students are expected to understand French workplace culture, which emphasizes punctuality, formality, and a strict respect for hierarchy.

Legal & Academic Requirements:

• Convention de Stage (Internship Agreement):
   This is the most critical document. It is a tripartite legal contract signed by the student, the host company, and the home university. Without this agreement, an internship is not legally recognized in France.
• Duration & Pay:
   For internships exceeding two months, French law mandates a minimum stipend, currently approximately 
  €4.35 per hour
   (roughly 
  €615–€670 per month
  ).
• Working Hours:
   Interns typically work a standard 
  35-hour week
  , though some programs may specify up to 39 hours.

Visa & Documentation (For Non-EU Students):

• Internship Visa (VLS-TS)

: A long-stay internship visa is required for placements exceeding 90 days.
- Proof of Funds:
 Applicants must demonstrate financial means to support themselves, with some programs requiring bank statements showing approximately 
€1,500
 for the last three months.
- Mandatory Health Insurance:
 Students must provide proof of medical insurance valid in France for the entire duration of their stay.
- Passport:
 A valid passport with at least six months of validity beyond the program's start date is required
