Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Chief Representative Officer of Haitong Bank in Paris, the trainee will support new business generation by gathering information on market growth, competitors, and potential market share. The trainee will also review company fundamentals and financial statements.

The main tasks/responsibilities for this position include:

• Identify potential clients and prospects in the French, Benelux, and other European markets.
• Ensure effective communication with internal and external counterparties.
• Prepare credit applications, including company presentations, financial analysis, industry analysis, and peer comparison.
• Participate in transactions and advisory processes.
• Write detailed information memorandums.
• Assist in the execution of new corporate and project Financing deals.

Profile

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or Financial Engineering.
• Strong analytical skills and risk assessment capabilities.
• Native French or Chinese speaker with fluency in English (excellent verbal and written skills).
• Proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office and standard business/financial databases.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
• Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills.
• Dedicated, innovative, resourceful, and able to work under pressure.
