The role of the Project Manager/Senior Consultant (Manager) is to lead and deliver medium to high complexity talent technology implementation, optimizations, selection, and remediation projects having deep Subject Matter Expertise (SME) knowledge in multiple tools. The Senior Consultant has overall accountability for delivering project oversight and management as well as operational, functional, and integration/technical consultation. The size, scope, and complexity of projects will typically consist of enterprise organizations with deployments in one or more countries; projects will vary based upon client engagements.

The Senior Consultant is responsible for overseeing and guiding team members within a project or as their direct supervisor. The Senior Consultant reports to a Senior Manager or Head of Technology Advisory and will engage with client, technology partner, and internal stakeholders.

Delivery

• Delivery of projects to scope, time, and budget (measured by project margin, timeline accuracy, and hours against budget)
• Successful completion of leading technology implementation projects, including ownership of leading both the functional and technical design
• Set direction and manage inputs from Analysts, Consultants, and client stakeholders to achieve project outcomes (measured by project performance against scope, time, and budget)

Delivery

• Owns delivery of one or more active technology implementations at any given time, performing project management, change management guidance, and training plans
• Creates and manages to project plans for technology implementations or optimizations
• Facilitates sprint planning sessions and iterations in line with overall project approach
• Leads discovery and technology design with key stakeholders, in line with contractual obligations
• Presents and validates design with key client stakeholders and technology vendor partners
• Develops test strategy
• Creates and manages cutover checklists for tech implementation and optimization projects
• Leads or provides input to the client on system training and enablement
• Facilitates handover and knowledge transfer with the client
• Leads or contributes to lessons learned exercises, documenting and sharing output for ongoing development
• Identifies, documents and mitigates risks, issues, actions, decisions, and change impacts
• Develops weekly project updates when leading projects; contributes to weekly project updates when leading a workstream as part of a larger transformation
• Identifies and manages or partners with leadership to manage change requests
• Support Consultants and Analysts with managing change requests with clients and technology partners
• Accountability for managing and enabling team members to work in the most efficient way to deliver against projects they own or are supporting

Relationships

• Manages, collaborates, and actively influences senior project stakeholders (manager level or above), client SMEs, technology partner stakeholders, and internal AMS team members across COEs
• Collaborate with clients, peers, managers, and technology partners on new innovation, ways of working, and continuous improvement
• Provide demonstrable contribution to internal engagement through improvement, learning, collaboration, and engagement efforts within the team

Growth

• Monitor number of hours used on projects, including projects of direct reports and team members supporting projects under remit, and proactively address and manage with client, internal, and technology partners, as relevant

• Strong recruitment and talent acquisition domain expertise combined with the ability to lead technology delivery and project teams.
• Proven experience delivering complex talent technology implementations within enterprise and multi-country environments.
• Ability to engage, influence and manage senior stakeholders, technology vendors and internal delivery teams to achieve aligned outcomes.
• Demonstrated capability to deliver projects to scope, time and budget, while proactively managing risk, change and dependencies.
• Experience guiding organisations through system adoption, transformation and optimisation, ensuring successful business and user uptake.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP (SuccessFactors), SmartRecruiters, Paradox and Avature
• Exposure to enterprise, multi-country TA technology landscapes
• French or German language capability
