The Role

You'll architect and drive forward the evolution of our Content Protection systems, bringing technical excellence to life both through writing code and inspiring your team to reach new heights.

Your expertise will shape our technical direction as you:

• Collaborate with product and operations partners to transform challenges into opportunities

• Mentor rising talent through meaningful 1:1s

• Establish priorities that align our technical capabilities with business success

Responsibilities and Duties

We're seeking a skilled practitioner, passionate about technology and eager to expand their impact and responsibilities.

In this role, you will:

• Serve as our go-to authority on Content Protection system implementations
  Improve the technical excellence of the team by leading by example and coaching others

• Design and implement high-impact technical solutions aligned with modern architectural practices

• Provide mentorship, sharing best practices and driving continuous improvement

• Translate product needs into technical deliverables in coordination with stakeholders

• Maintain a high standard of code quality and technical rigor

• Foster an environment of diverse perspectives, growth, accountability, and learning
  Contribute technical input to strategic decisions alongside product leads and senior peers

• Lead a globally distributed team across multiple time zones (from UTC+6 to UTC–8)

 Essential

• Proven track record of solving complex technical problems

• Deep understanding of software design patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture)

• Experience planning and leading projects that delivered measurable business/customer impact

• Proficiency with both interpreted and compiled languages - We use Python, Go, TypeScript, C#, and Ruby

• Experience with relational, NoSQL, and columnar databases
  PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse

• Comfortable with Linux server management

• Hands-on experience with: Containerization (e.g., Docker), Kubernetes (K8s), Kafka, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) ,Major cloud providers (AWS, GCP)

• Familiarity with: Front-end frameworks (e.g., React), Web crawling/scraping methodologies
