Job Description
Technip Energies recruits a Head of "Materials & Network calculations" section Electrical Department (F/M). As part of Technip Energies Paris operations, you will report to the head of the electrical department.

You will have at least ten years of experience in Electrical.

Graduate engineer, you will demonstrate the relevance of your background and skills in the following areas:

  • Project execution and leadership in project engineering in the R&D, conceptual, FEED and EPCI phase
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and standards
  • Supervision and training of new engineers
  • Ensuring the application of company's quality method and procedure
  • Managing interfaces with other Engineering and process disciplines
  • Taking into account the contractual requirements of a project
  • Knowledge of electrical equipment and network calculations
  • Holding meetings, writing technical reports
  • Knowledge of the reference documentation of the discipline

In particular, you will be in charge of the following activities:

  • Ensure the management of the resources of the section, in agreement with the Head of department (Planning of charges, Recruitment, Annual interview, Appraisal, Training, Advancement, Promotion of staff)
  • Provide and coordinate the necessary technical support to the staff of his section
  • Anticipate the needs related to energy transition to improve the skills of the section on these subjects
  • Check the technological choices (design reviews, checking…)
  • Ensure a technology watch and regular contact with electrical manufacturers
  • Develop technical notes, standards and discipline feedback and keep the reference system up to date (DRB)
  • Participate in developments related to equipment requisitions and network calculations, ensure the deployment and optimization of new tools
  • Check the application of methods, quality management procedure and HSE rules
  • Transfer information (reporting) to the department head
  • Convey general information from the Department and the Group to the staff of its section and respond to requests / questions / queries from the staff
  • Anticipate and ensure the staffing of teams on current projects, in agreement with the lead and the department manager

You will be in direct contact daily with the head of electrical department.

Your creative and positive personality, focused on solutions, your agile and collaborative mindset will enable a smooth communication and lasting relationship with both the employees of the discipline, but also with the various internal and external clients.

You speak English and French fluently and are mobile for short trips to France and abroad.
