Cutover Lead – SAP S/4HANA Brownfield Migration

We are seeking an experienced
Cutover Lead
to plan, coordinate, and execute all cutover activities for a large-scale
SAP ECC to S/4HANA Brownfield migration
. This role is critical to ensuring a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations, working closely with technical, functional, and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the overall cutover strategy, including detailed plans, timelines, dependencies, and resourcing
  • Coordinate with functional, technical, and business teams to identify and manage cutover objects (open transactions, master data, interfaces, integrations)
  • Ensure continuity of business operations and non-regression of existing processes post-cutover
  • Lead cutover rehearsals and mock runs to validate readiness and identify risks
  • Own cutover execution during go-live, including system downtime, data migration checkpoints, and validation activities
  • Collaborate with PMO, deployment teams, and business stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment
  • Track, report, and manage cutover progress, issues, risks, and mitigation actions
  • Ensure adherence to ITIL standards and best practices throughout the transition

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience leading SAP cutover activities, ideally within S/4HANA Brownfield programs
  • Strong understanding of SAP ECC and S/4HANA architecture, data migration, and end-to-end business processes
  • Excellent coordination, planning, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to operate calmly under pressure in high-impact go-live environments
  • Experience with RAID logs, change management, and go-live / hypercare support
