We are seeking a Senior Scientist to join our Protein & Vector Engineering team, contributing to cutting-edge research in structural bioinformatics, computational chemistry, and AI-driven drug design.This role plays a key part in advancing computational drug design (CDD) across biologics, chemistry, and genomics programmes. You will work closely with senior scientists and cross-functional teams to develop and apply innovative computational approaches for 3D structure prediction, molecular modelling, and protein/antibody design.What this role offersSenior-level ownership of computational strategy and executionExposure to AI- and computation-driven drug discovery programmesA collaborative, multidisciplinary environment across protein engineering, genomics, and data scienceOpportunity to contribute to publications, patents, and platform developmentKey responsibilitiesLead computational strategies for drug design, molecular modelling, and structural bioinformaticsDesign and execute advanced workflows (MD, QM, protein & antibody design, AI/ML-driven CDD)Mentor junior scientists and support technical developmentBuild and maintain robust, reproducible in-house computational pipelinesCollaborate with internal teams and external partnersWhat you'll bringPhD in a relevant computational or life sciences discipline5+ years' experience in computational drug design or molecular modellingStrong expertise in structural bioinformatics, computational chemistry, and AI/MLProgramming skills in Python, R, or BashExperience with tools such as Schrödinger, MOE, Rosetta, PyMOL, AlphaFoldNice to haveHPC or cloud computing experiencePeptide modellingEnd-to-end drug discovery exposure
