Senior Structural Design EngineeriO Associates is currently partnered with a leading aerospace client that is seeking a Senior Aerostructures Engineer to provide technical expertise and leadership in the design, analysis, and development of aerostructures for a major aviation program. This is a rare opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring the structural integrity and performance of next-generation aircraft.As part of a dynamic and forward-thinking team, you'll be responsible for aerostructures design, materials selection, structural analysis, and manufacturing processes within the aerospace industry.Requirements:7+ years of experience in aerospace engineering with a focus on aerostructures design and analysis.Strong proficiency in CAD tools (e.g., CATIA, NX) and structural analysis methods.B1 level or above in French and fluent in EnglishExpertise in aerospace materials and manufacturing processes.Experience with aircraft certification processes and regulatory requirements (FAA, EASA).Responsibilities:Design and development of aerostructures components and assemblies, optimising for performance, weight, and manufacturability.Perform structural analysis and calculations to validate strength, stiffness, and fatigue life.Select appropriate materials and collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure compatibility with design requirements.Support integration and testing of aerostructures components, including static, dynamic, and fatigue tests.Ensure compliance with aerospace regulatory standards and quality assurance processes.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Communicate effectively with stakeholders, prepare technical reports, and support program milestones.Ready to take your aerospace career to the next level?
