Scintil is an international company headquartered in France, with offices in Canada and the United StatesAbout the RoleThe Director will manage the Process Integration team, define strategic roadmaps for external foundry engagement, and serve as the primary technical and operational liaison between Scintil and its manufacturing partners. This role is critical in driving yield, quality, and time-to-market performance during the company's growth and production ramp-up.ResponsibilitiesProcess Integration & IndustrializationOversee qualification, process optimization and monitoring of PIC wafer lots, ensuring on-time delivery and quality.Drive root-cause analysis (8D), continuous improvement, and yield optimization.Supervise definition of qualification plans, reliability testing, and process control strategies (FMEA, DOE, Control Plans).Leadership & StrategyDefine and lead Scintil's foundry engagement strategy and process integration roadmap.Build, mentor, and manage the Process Integration team.Act as the senior technical interface with foundries and R&D partners.Cross-functional CollaborationWork closely with design, test, and purchasing teams to align technology with product requirements.Represent Scintil in high-level technical and strategic discussions with foundries and ecosystem partners.Lead task forces during ramp-up phases to secure smooth transition to production.QualificationsMinimum Requirements (Must Have):Master's or PhD in Materials Science, Semiconductor Physics, or related fields10+ years of experience in semiconductor/PIC/MEMS process integrationPrevious experience in managing external foundry relationships and/or technology transferMandatory expertise in risk analysis (FMEA, 8D), Design of Experiments (DOE), and yield improvement methodologiesFluent in English (C1 level or above); French is a plusStrong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skillsDesirable Qualifications (Nice to Have):Hands-on experience in photonics-specific technologies (e.g., micro-transfer printing, bonding, wafer-level reliability testing)Proficiency in data analysisFamiliarity with advanced characterization methods (e.g., SEM, TEM, SIMS)Previous experience scaling a fabless semiconductor or Photonics companyPay range and compensation packageCompetitive salary and benefits packageEqual Opportunity StatementJoin an innovative company at the forefront of semiconductor Photonics technology.
