BackgroundOur client, a prominent GCC based Pension Fund, is seeking an experienced and strategic investment professional to join their Private Equity Fund Allocations. Reporting to the Head of Illiquid Alternatives, you will be responsible for shaping and executing their private equity investment strategy globally, with a focus on fund investments. You will be responsible for all aspects of the allocation process, including pipeline development, manager selection, due diligence, structuring, and portfolio monitoring.Key Responsibilities:Strategy Leadership: Develop and refine the global private equity strategy, with emphasis on fund investmentsFund Sourcing & Selection: Lead sourcing and evaluation of best-in-class private equity fund managers across geographies, sectors, and return profilesDue Diligence & Structuring: Oversee all aspects of investment due diligence, including qualitative assessments, risk analysis, legal negotiations, and investment memo preparationPortfolio Construction: Optimise portfolio allocation by ensuring diversification, risk-adjusted return potential, and alignment with the broader investment strategyStakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for fund managers and internal committeesMarket Intelligence: Maintain a deep understanding of global private credit markets, emerging trends, and competitive dynamicsQualifications & Experience:Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in private equity fund-of-funds, or institutional allocator rolesDemonstrated track record of successful private equity fund selection and portfolio constructionStrong network within the private equity manager and GP communityExperience working with or within sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices, or large institutional investors preferred
