Head of Procurement – Construction, Workplace Fit-Out & Capital Projects (EMEA) | Real Estate | Paris, France(Hybrid)To apply please contact jobsoe@bramwithconsulting.co.uk with your CV.I am partnered with a global professional services and real estate organisation to appoint a Head of Procurement for a specialist Construction, Workplace Fit-Out and Capital Project Delivery business line operating across EMEA.This is a senior, highly visible leadership hire, operating alongside executive leadership, with a mandate to shape procurement strategy, lead commercial decision-making, manage delivery risk, and support the business in winning and retaining work. The role sits within a matrixed, advisory-led environment and requires someone who can operate with autonomy and authority from day one.The OpportunityYou will act as the Procurement Leader for a Design & Build / Fit-Out Projects business line, partnering closely with Managing Directors, Project Directors, and client-facing teams across EMEA. This role is about commercial leadership and strategic influence, not running tenders in isolation.Key responsibilities include:Partner directly with MDs and senior project stakeholders on major fit-out, construction, and capital project programmes (with FM considerations primarily at mobilisation and handover stage).Define and optimise preferred supplier, contractor, and consultant strategies across key EMEA markets.Lead commercial input into contracting models, design & build arrangements, and delivery partner selection.Ensure the right quality, capability, risk profile, and commercial terms are embedded into delivery partners.Build and embed governance, risk management, cost control, and commercial frameworks across the business line.Drive adoption of procurement at business-line level, ensuring work remains in-house and commercially competitive.Represent Procurement at executive, board-level, and senior leadership forums.Act as a trusted commercial advisor, not a policy enforcer.This role exists to enable growth, delivery confidence, and client success across complex, high-value projects.Operating Model & Team ContextStandalone senior role initially, with full authority across the EMEA remit.Operating within a matrixed regional sourcing and leadership structure.Influences project directors, country leadership, and senior stakeholders without formal authority.Clear mandate to build and scale a procurement team over the next 12–36 months.Significant stakeholder exposure across Southern Europe, the UK, and wider EMEA.Who This Will Suit:Has circa 8+ years' experience in project procurement, construction, fit-out, real estate services, or capital projects.Has deep understanding of design & build environments, contractor markets, and project risk.Is credible and confident engaging at C-suite, board, and Managing Director level.Is a self-starter who can navigate complex, matrixed organisations.Thrives in environments with high accountability and limited hierarchy.Key Requirements:Strong background in construction, fit-out, capital projects, or real estate services procurement.Proven experience influencing senior, client-facing stakeholders.Track record of building supplier strategies, commercial frameworks, and risk governance.Comfortable owning commercial outcomes in complex, multi-country environments.Fluent English and either Spanish or French.Why This Role Is Career-DefiningSeat at the table with senior executive leadership.Direct influence over how the business delivers, competes, and grows.Opportunity to shape a function and drive success from the top.Exposure to complex, high-value projects across EMEA.A platform to establish yourself as a true commercial and procurement leader.For a confidential discussion, please contact: jobsoe@bramwithconsulting.co.uk
