The role sits at the intersection of R&D, operations, and leadership execution.We are hiring a Strategy & Operations Associate / Junior Chief of Staff to work closely with the CEO and the Strategy & Operations Lead. This is a hands-on, internal role where you will help structure how the company runs day-to-day as it scales, working directly with scientific, technical, and operational teams.What you will work onDriving cross-functional projects across R&D, operations, and productionSupporting growth planning, internal structuring, and execution prioritiesBudget tracking, cash planning, and internal financial reportingManaging non-dilutive funding processes such as BPI and European grantsSupporting recruitment coordination and internal people processesBuilding internal documentation, onboarding processes, and operating rhythmsSupporting internal and external communications, decks, and narrativesWhat we are looking forYou are likely a fit only if you have:An academic background in life sciences (biology, biotech, bioengineering, biochemistry, or similar)1–3 years of experience in a biotech, deeptech, startup, VC, or innovation-driven environmentExposure to how scientific teams operate, including R&D or technical projectsStrong analytical and structuring skillsComfort working hands-on in ambiguity, not as an external advisorStrong written and verbal communication skills in French and EnglishNice to have:Experience with grants, public funding, or research programmesFamiliarity with start-up tooling such as Notion, spreadsheets, Miro, or similarExposure to automation or low-code tools
