As a Green Asset Manager, you will be immersed in a strategic, innovative work environment, at the intersection of real estate and energy. You will support the teams in analysing, structuring, and implementing energy strategies to enhance the value of our clients’ real estate assets (real estate funds, open-ended funds, insurers, SCPIs, property companies, etc.).
This position is an opportunity to build expertise on the challenges of the energy transition in the real estate sector, with a strong sales component and prospects for a full-time offer at the end of the internship.
Your main responsibilities
1) Start – Getting up to speed and commercial support (sales / account management)
Understand and become familiar with the challenges related to decarbonization and real estate.
Contribute to identifying client needs (gathering information, analysing expectations).
Support business development (target research, prospect follow-up, database updates).
Prepare arguments demonstrating the financial and energy impacts of projects on real estate assets.
Join discussions with technical and industrial partners to build energy-optimisation projects.
Ensure regulatory and technical watch on energy obligations and new optimisation opportunities.
Prepare and format presentation materials / PowerPoint decks for calls for tender.
Attend first client meetings (note-taking, action follow-up).
2) Mid-internship – Client relations and solution building
Manage client relationships directly (under supervision) to identify needs and ask the right questions.
Help develop commercial proposals (calls for tender responses, drafting arguments, costing).
Work on crafting ad hoc solutions: assemble and formalize responses manually in PowerPoint / Excel without predefined instructions.
Independently follow certain prospects or client accounts (regular internal reporting).
3) Progression – Project management and delivery
Take on responsibility increasingly regarding project coordination: scheduling, tracking advancement, being the clients’ and internal teams’ contact.
Contribute to financial modeling of projects by analysing IRR/NPV for energy retrofit and on-site renewable energy investments.
Ensure high-quality execution of services (quality, on-time delivery, tracking of needs).
Ensure the smooth transition from the commercial phase to the delivery phase and continue to represent Carb0n for the client.
4) End of internship – Expected autonomy and accountability
- Independently lead certain smaller-scale projects:
o End-to-end client follow-up,
o Internal delivery management,
o Presentation of deliverables.
Contribute to client loyalty: regular follow-up, identification of new opportunities.
Build skills on strategic aspects (portfolio vision, providing insight on the best solution) as the internship progresses.
