As we enter a new phase of growth, including external growth through acquisitions, we are looking for a Chief of Staff to work directly with the Founders. You will be at the heart of the company’s most strategic topics: leading cross-functional projects and initiatives and supporting M&A transactions from due diligence to post-merger integration. This is a hands-on role with high visibility across all teams, ideal for someone who enjoys switching between analysis, execution and external representation, and who wants to grow quickly in an international scale-up.
Responsibilities
Strategic projects & initiatives
Lead strategic projects and initiatives under the responsibility of the Founders:
Internal: cross-functional processes, new country opening, Carbon Assessment…
External: corporate & investor communication and reporting, B Corp certification…
Cover several missions of the People & Communications team during a maternity leave:
Organise webinars end-to-end (topics, speakers, rehearsals, set-up on the day)
Organise our presence at conferences and industry events (speaking slots, booth booking, supplier materials)
Run the People Survey, eNPS and follow-up action plans
Manage the update and maintenance of Spinergie’s website together with our Content Manager
Grants & tax credits:
Lead the preparation of reports and presentations for grants and tax credits (French and European programmes), leveraging your understanding of the product roadmap
Lead the reporting following grant awards
Strategy and M&A
Deal structuring and execution
Coordinate the due diligence workstream with internal teams and external advisors (legal, financial, tax): data room review, financial and commercial analysis, key contract review, Q&A tracking
Support valuation, deal structuring and preparation of transaction documents (LOI, term sheets, SPA inputs)
Ensure rigorous project management of the process: timelines, workstreams, open items and decision points
Post-Merger Integration (PMI)
Design and run the integration plan: governance, 100-day plan, workstreams (people, product, sales, finance, IT)
Track synergies and integration KPIs, and report progress to the Founders and the Board
Be a day-to-day point of contact for the acquired team, ensuring a smooth cultural and operational onboarding
No candidate perfectly meets all the requirements. If this role excites you and you believe you can bring value to our team, we encourage you to apply
We are committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and identities.
Preferred experience
3-5 years of experience, ideally in strategy / management consulting
Hands-on: comfortable doing the work (due diligence, event logistics, reporting), not only coordinating it
Versatile: able to switch between analysis, writing external presentations, and hands-on tasks
Strong analytical and project management skills
Reliable, accountable, and autonomous in setting priorities
Excellent written and spoken English to effectively convey ideas and information to various stakeholders and teams
Strong business acumen
Based in Paris
Open to travel
