About Sharp Vision
Sharp Vision is a leading technology player providing solutions to governments. Its flagship product is a platform that revolutionizes gambling regulation (sports betting, horse racing, casino, etc.). This platform is designed for regulatory authorities, with the goal of monitoring all bets placed by gaming operators and the associated financial flows, giving governments full visibility into the sector’s activity and the technical means to fulfill their missions.
Building on our initial successes, we are looking to grow our team in order to expand across Europe and support the launch of new products. We are looking for our next Business Developer at Sharp Vision.
Role Overview
As a Business Developer dedicated to the European zone, you will report to the CRO based in Paris. The position is based in the Île-de-France region, with frequent short trips (averaging 2 days, twice a month) for in-person meetings and events.
Key Responsibilities
To grow Sharp Vision’s client portfolio, you will manage the full sales cycle, from needs qualification through to contract signing :
Analyze the gambling market and the regulatory legal framework in your assigned territory
Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, events, and networking
Gather the needs of regulatory authorities and supervisory ministries
Present and promote our software offering and associated services
Conduct sales meetings with prospects: service presentations and software demonstrations
Design business models, commercial proposals, and lead negotiations
Prepare and draft responses to calls for tenders and request for Proposal : manage the entire response process, from analyzing specifications to technical and commercial drafting, in close coordination with internal teams.
Support the launch of signed projects: setting up a local structure, recruiting dedicated staff (in collaboration with headquarters in Paris)
Collaborate with technical and project teams to ensure a clear understanding of client needs and contribute to the evolution of our platform
Maintain trusted relationships with existing clients to ensure retention
Provide regular reporting on sales activity
About the Company
GovTech: Our clients are exclusively governments or state entities
RegTech: Our products address states’ regulatory needs, for example in the field of online betting and gambling
We have an entrepreneurial mindset and are experiencing strong growth
Our technical platforms process several million transactions per day
We already have a product in production for multiple government clients, with multi-year contracts guaranteeing recurring revenue and the ability to grow on our own funds
Preferred experience
Strong B2B sales experience required
Experience in complex sales cycles required
Strong experience in the gambling market (retail or online)
Experience selling to the public sector
Experience with another regulatory product
Knowledge of the RegTech sector and payment technology market is a plus
Autonomy, rigor, and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and verbal communication, ability to synthesize
Strong listening skills and analytical mindset
Proficiency with digital tools
Reliability and a strong sense of commitment
Fluent in English (spoken and written). French is a plus
