🎯 Responsibilities
You’ll join the finance team as Financial Controller, reporting to Jean-François, our VP Finance. It’s the right seat for someone who wants to see the whole finance function of a scaling industrial company.
Controlling & reporting
Own the month-end close: accuracy of cost allocations, accruals, prepaids and intercompany across our French, US and Japanese entities
Analyze financial performance against budget and targets; explain variances to the VP Finance and leadership
Prepare the monthly reporting package (P&L, cash, KPIs) for management, the board and investors
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles
Operations & cash
Invoice customers and monitor collections; follow up on overdue payments with Sales and Deployment
Prepare supplier and payroll-related bank payments
Track down and collect missing supporting documents (invoices, POs, expense receipts) and drive the team to keep them clean
Building the function
Improve internal finance processes and tooling, including using AI tools to automate collection, matching and reconciliation work
Take over bookkeeping (AP, AR, bank, accruals, prepaids) from our external accountant over the next 12–18 months
Support audit, tax and grant-related requests (CIR, BPI, etc.)
