As a Mission
Analysis Engineer Intern at Astroscale France, you will be part of a dynamic team working on innovative projects that contribute to the sustainability and safety of the Earth's space environment.
 

 

Main Missions 

  • Support the analysis and assessment of RPOD (Rendezvous, Proximity Operations and Docking) Concepts of Operations, including mission feasibility and operational scenarios. 
  • Develop and maintain
    interfaces between Mission Analysis and
    System Engineering tools.
     
  • Design, develop, and enhance internal python tools for mission analysis. 
  • Develop and execute unit and functional tests to ensure software quality and reliability.  
  • Write and maintain technical documentation, validation reports, and project deliverables. 
  • Contribute to architectural design discussions and technical decision-making. 
  • Use configuration and version management tools (git) to support development activities. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment and actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives. 

 

Essential Skills 

  • Currently enrolled in the final year of engineering degree program, with a specialization in the aerospace field/computer science. 
  • Strong knowledge of software development, particularly in Python. 
  • Willingness and ability to work in a multidisciplinary and international environment. 
  • Innovative and proactive mindset. 
  • Excellent communication skills. 
  • Fluent in French and English. 

 

Desired Skills
 

  • Understanding of orbital mechanics. 
  • Proficiency in scripting languages. 
  • Knowledge of Pytest would be a plus. 
  • Knowledge of Linux. 
  • Experience in Mission
    Analysis. 
     
  • Experience with configuration management (Git) 
  • Experience in space or robotics projects. 



Duration and date: approx. 6 months, from March / Avril
