At Fime, the work is varied and intellectually stimulating. No two days are the same, and you will be surrounded by smart, engaged colleagues who value learning and continuous improvement.
MISSION
As a Presales Executive, you are the technical partner our prospects and clients meet during the sales cycle. Sitting between sales and technical experts, you own the technical side of the deal: you lead client conversations, demonstrate the platform, and turn connected‑product compliance needs into clear, buyable solutions. You work across IoT devices, biometrics and eID applications, anchoring each engagement in solid product‑security fundamentals and bringing in senior experts when deep specialisation is required. You design solutions that combine expert‑led services and the platform, ensuring proposals are technically robust, commercially attractive and deliverable.

ACTIVITIES
- Client facing technical selling. Lead technical meetings with R&D, security and compliance stakeholders, build trust, address objections and work with Account Executives and inside sales to move opportunities to close.
- Technical scoping & solution design. Run discovery sessions, map product architectures, and design compliance/evaluation roadmaps that combine lab services with platform capabilities, standardising where possible.
- Platform demonstrations. Deliver compelling, value based demos that show how the platform acts as a “Product Trust Center” for CRA, RED DA and related standards, consistently advancing qualified opportunities.
- Proposals & scopes of work. Define solution scope, tiering and the split between expert led testing and platform automation; draft technical proposals and SoWs for complex accounts and validate margin and deliverability.
- Technical deal support. Act as technical lead on deals involving specific schemes (e.g. FIDO Biometrics, EUCC, eIDAS), coordinating with senior experts and labs where needed.
- Product & market feedback. Feed structured field insights, client needs and competitive information into the product roadmap and internal knowledge base.
- External representation. Occasionally represent Fime at industry events, webinars or client forums as a technical spokesperson.
JOB EXPERIENCE
- 2–6 years in technical pre‑sales / solution engineering, product security, cybersecurity consulting, or hardware/software evaluation, with regular client‑facing exposure.
- Experience with IoT, embedded systems or secure product architectures.
- Working knowledge of the EU CRA and at least one adjacent standard/regulation (e.g. RED‑DA, ETSI EN 303 645, IEC 62443, FIDO / FIDO Biometrics, Common Criteria / EUCC, eIDAS / EUDI Wallet).
- Experience running technical discovery and contributing to or owning technical proposals / scopes of work.
Nice to have:
- Exposure to payment security standards and testing (PCI‑PTS, EMVCo, secure transaction architectures).
- Technical demo experience on a SaaS platform.
- Knowledge of biometric implementation security and/or eID & digital identity frameworks.
- Experience with high‑assurance certification (Common Criteria / EUCC).
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Master’s degree (Bac+5 / Engineering Diploma) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Embedded Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong grasp of IoT / embedded product security: Secure Boot, cryptography, TEE, Secure Elements, firmware integrity.
- SaaS mindset: keen to automate manual, document‑heavy compliance work through software.
- Customer‑facing and sales‑oriented, confident in leading meetings and live demos with technical stakeholders.
- Consultative, structured problem‑solver able to map architectures to compliance building blocks and handle objections in real time.
- High execution, resilience and adaptability in multi‑stakeholder, integration‑heavy contexts.
- Strong communication and influencing skills with both technical and commercial audiences.
- Fluency in English (mandatory); French or German a strong plus, other languages an advantage.
