Zama makes Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) practical at scale. The Zama Protocol brings FHE to blockchain, enabling confidential smart contracts on any L1 or L2. The Product Integrations team owns the Zama SDK, the high-level developer abstraction that lets wallets, custodians, exchanges, and dApps add confidential token support (ERC-7984) to their existing products without needing to understand the cryptography underneath.
The technology for using confidential tokens is live on Ethereum, with a roadmap to cover other EVM and non-EVM chains. Every serious partner conversation needs someone who can explain how confidential tokens work and answer the hard technical questions on the spot. The demand is coming from DeFi and on-chain finance protocols, from exchanges and custodians to stablecoin and tokenisation platforms and trading venues. Today that falls to a handful of people who cannot be in every call. We are looking for a Sales Engineer in our Product Division to be the person who can own the product/technical calls and whom the partners trust for a straight answer.
Product Integrations builds the tools and integrations that help external products use Zama technology: the Zama SDK, wallet and dApp integrations, and partner-facing developer workflows. This role sits inside the Product division, on the Product Integrations team, as the technical voice for the partners building on Zama. Day to day you will work with our Business Development and Ecosystem teams, who own the partner relationships and run most of these conversations, and with the Product Integrations and SDK engineers who build what you are selling.
What you’ll do
Be the technical voice in partner conversations: Join partner and prospect calls as the product-side technical lead alongside our Business Development/Ecosystem team. Explain how Zama Protocol works to audiences that range from non-technical executives to sceptical protocol/chain engineers, and pitch it at exactly the right level for the room.
Run technical & product discovery: Qualify what a partner actually needs. Build a reusable discovery checklist and apply it across deals so real integration requirements get separated from noise early. Translate DeFi and on-chain finance use cases, from confidential transfers and trading to tokenised assets and stablecoins, into what the SDK can do.
Own the technical narrative: Build the decks, demos, and solution walkthroughs that make FHE tangible, and usable by the Product as well as Business Development/Ecosystem teams. Work out how a specific partner would use confidential tokens, then show them concretely how they would incorporate it into their product stack.
Answer the hard questions, accurately: Handle technical Q&A live in the room and in writing afterwards. Be precise about what the technology does and does not do. Credibility is the product.
Create bespoke demos to bring the product to life: Stand up demos and lightweight proof-of-concepts that let a partner see confidential tokens working in something close to their own context.
Close the loop with Product teams: Prioritise and surface partner objections, blockers, and feature gaps back to the Product Integrations and SDK team, so the product gets easier to sell with every deal.
