The Role  French Speaking Contracts Lawyer — Secondment Opportunity Eudia Counsel is looking for a French-speaking contracts lawyer to join one of our clients — an international engineering and construction contractor operating across Europe — on a 9-month secondment starting 1 November 2026. This role will ideally be based in Ireland (Paris or Brussels also considered remotely), working full-time Monday to Friday.

What You'll Do
* Negotiate client contracts (construction law) across all jurisdictions our client operates in, with particular focus on matters in French
- and Belgian-speaking regions.
* Negotiate a variety of vendor construction contracts, including subcontracts, supply agreements, and consultant appointments.
* Negotiate framework agreements with vendors where possible.
* Assist on aspects of labour and agency law where relevant.
* Support other commercial contracts, claims, and disputes as they arise from time to time.
* Provide ad hoc support on related matters, such as employment law, as needed. Key Requirements
* Fluent in French and English, with the ability to draft contracts in French.
* Ideally 5+ years PQE, though candidates with less experience will also be considered.
* Experience in construction law is a significant advantage.
* Comfortable with complex, multi-party contract negotiations in a construction environment.   Why You'll Love Working Here
