Internship
- Consolidation of Axens Equipment Industrialization (F/M)
Location:
Rueil-Malmaison Axens Presentation: Axens provides a complete range of solutions for the conversion of oil and biomass to cleaner fuels, the production and purification of major petrochemical intermediates, the chemical recycling of plastics, all-natural gas treatment and conversion options along with water treatment and carbon capture. The offer includes technologies, equipment, furnaces, modular units, catalysts, adsorbents and related services. Axens is also specialized in Carbon Capture. Axens is ideally positioned to cover the entire value chain, from feasibility study to unit start-up and follow-up throughout the entire unit life cycle. This unique position ensures the highest level of performance with a reduced environmental footprint. Axens global offer is based on highly trained human resources, modern production facilities and an extended global network for industrial, technical support & commercial services. Axens combines the friendliness of a company on a human scale and the influence of a multinational environment whose customers are spread over more than 85 countries. Axens is an IFP Group company. Context: Axens designs, industrializes and commercializes proprietary equipment to provide customers with reliable, robust and safe industrial solutions. As part of this strategy, industrialization projects are carried out to secure manufacturing routes, and to qualify suppliers for fabrication based on defined technical and quality requirements. Today, key information generated during these projects (supplier status, audits, open actions, documentation, execution plans, decisions and rationales) are not centralized. This internship will help structure and consolidate these deliverables into a consistent and accessible reference, supporting more efficient future project executions. Missions / Tasks and activities:
• Collect and consolidate industrialization project outputs
• Build a clear supplier status mapping (e.g., qualified / audited / under evaluation / rejected) with associated evidence and decision history.
• Consolidate action plans (open points, owners, priorities, due dates) and propose a simple follow-up structure.
• Help identify and structure the Project Execution Plan (PEP)
• Create standardized summaries (“one-page” project or supplier sheets) usable by operational teams.
• Contribute to the definition of repository rules (naming conventions, versioning, how to keep the information up to date).
• When relevant, propose simple indicators (e.g., number of qualified suppliers per equipment family, lead times to qualification, recurring issues) to support decision making. Profile: 2nd year engineering student looking for an internship combining industrial engineering, project structuring, and supplier/quality exposure in an international industrial environment. Technical & human skills
• Interest in industrialization, manufacturing, mechanical equipment and quality topics.
• Strong rigor and organization (ability to structure information, track actions, manage versions).
• Good synthesis and communication skills (turn complex project information into clear deliverables).
• Proactive mindset and good interpersonal
skills:
comfortable interacting with multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Comfortable with Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of data structuring tools is a plus. At Axens, we challenge stereotypes and clichés. It is actually the foundation of our commitment to Diversity Equity & Inclusion. Only your talent and personality matter to us”
