As an ST Operator at Vestas
As an ST Operator at Vestas, you contribute to an essential mission: providing safe, sustainable, and accessible energy to the communities around us. Every task you perform directly supports the performance of the wind turbines that power homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses across France.
This role is ideal for people who enjoy hands-on technical work, working outdoors, and collaborating as part of a team. Whether you are at the beginning of your career or already have some initial experience, we will support you from day one to help you develop your skills and build a long-term career in the wind energy industry.
This is a practical role where every day is different. When wind turbines operate at their full potential thanks to your work, you are making a direct contribution to the energy transition.
What You'll Do
From one of our service hubs, you will join a team made up of a Site Manager, an Operations Planner, a Lead Technician, and experienced technicians and maintenance personnel. Working as part of a team and under the supervision of an Operations Manager, you will:
• Participate in preventive and corrective maintenance activities on wind turbines.
• Carry out inspections and checks required to ensure equipment operates efficiently.
• Support the diagnosis and resolution of technical issues and breakdowns.
• Maintain installations in compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
• Ensure high-quality interventions and adherence to established procedures.
• Contribute to the performance of wind farms and customer satisfaction. What You'll Benefit From At Vestas, we believe above all in people's potential.
• From day one, you will benefit from a structured onboarding program and ongoing training to help you develop your technical skills with confidence.
• You will work alongside experienced teams who are ready to share their expertise and support your development.
• You will enjoy genuine career development opportunities. Every year, many employees progress into roles such as Maintenance Technician, Blade Technician, Coordinator, or Operations Planner.
• You will join a team where safety is not only a requirement, but a shared commitment. Every intervention, every journey, and every decision is guided by a simple belief: safety is the foundation of a job well done. This means taking the necessary time, communicating effectively, and acting with rigor at every stage. By joining Vestas, a leader in wind energy in France, you will benefit from regular technical training, including at our national training center in Reims, as well as development opportunities within an international company with more than 40 years of expertise in renewable energy. You will also benefit from a permanent contract (CDI) based on a four-day work week, meal allowances, comprehensive health insurance coverage, profit-sharing and incentive schemes, employee benefits through the Works Council (CSE), and a working environment that supports a healthy work-life balance. This is a career that will allow you to learn, grow, and make a meaningful contribution to the future of sustainable energy. What We're Looking For Education
• Technical CAP/BEP qualification with relevant professional experience, or a vocational high school diploma (Bac Professionnel) in maintenance, electrical engineering, mechanics, or an equivalent field. Skills
• An interest in technical work and field-based activities.
• Proactive attitude, autonomy, and willingness to learn.
