Yole Group is currently recruiting a Technology Analyst specialized in computing to support and develop our reverse engineering activities on semiconductor devices. You will perform technology, cost and manufacturing processes analysis on standard or new technologies on computing devices. You will also work closely with the other technology & cost analysts to develop transversal analysis; share your knowledge and provide support when needed. This position is only opened to candidates graduated with a university degree
- master’s degree or engineering degree – in microelectronics / nanotechnologies or a related field. The position is based in La-Chapelle-sur-Erdre (44). As a Technology Analyst, your main tasks will be to:
• Interact with laboratory analysts and define analysis strategy
• Follow the physical analysis of devices, mainly CPUs, SoCs, GPUs & AI chips
• Contribute to the sample sourcing roadmaps
• Source the interesting devices you will analyze
• Understand the impact of the manufacturing process flow to calculate production costs
• Produce reports and customized studies
• Execute the projects within a given timeframe
• Overseeing the technology and industry trends linked to manufacturing cost variation in your domain
• Maintaining and enriching internal databases (manufacturing processes and materials, substrates, equipment costs …) Requirements
• University Degree (Masters, Engineer) in Physics / Nanotechnologies / Microelectronics / Semiconductor or a related field is mandatory
• A first experience (internship or 1/2 years) in manufacturing, characterization, cleanroom or design would be a real plus
• Deep interest in innovation economics and cost related subjects
• Curiosity, eager to learn
• Excellent French & English are mandatory (B2/C1)
• Communication & presentation skill
