What you will do:
Build and develop client relationships, understand client’s Electronic execution requirements, promote HSBC’s equity execution capabilities (both Electronic and High Touch), work closely with internal stakeholders in Trading, Product, Technology and Control functions to deliver high-quality client outcomes and support revenue growth]
In this role you will:
• Assist in the marketing and distribution of HSBC’s electronic execution capabilities, including algorithms, low-touch execution services, liquidity access and post-trade analytics, in support of business objectives.
• Provide clients with relevant market colour, market structure updates, execution insights and product information to strengthen client engagement and contribute to the identification of Sales opportunities.
• Support coverage of institutional clients by understanding execution needs, promoting platform adoption and helping optimise client workflows and execution outcomes.
• Support the day-to-day running of the high-touch equities desk, including handling client queries, coordinating execution follow-up, resolving issues and ensuring effective internal communication.
• Partner with Institutional Sales to grow business opportunities and adapt product offering to client needs.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, trading, Research, and key internal teams across risk, Finance, IT, and Front Office.
• Manage operational risk, escalate issues promptly, and stay compliant with regulatory, AML, sanctions, anti-corruption, tax, and sustainability requirements. You should apply if you have:
• Strong knowledge of economic and financial market mechanics, financial products, HSBC values, internal procedures, and regulation.
• Proven experience in sales trading / financial markets sales.
• Holds the required local market licences, qualifications, and regulatory certifications for sales and trading activities.
