About Bruyère Health Saint-Louis Long-Term Care Bruyère Health Saint-Louis Long-Term Care is a 198 bed Long-Term Care (LTC) home with convalescent care, peritoneal dialysis and respite programs situated in a quiet residential neighborhood on a picturesque setting on the edge of the Ottawa river. Reporting to the Manager, Assisted Living Services Bruyere Health Village, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service, playing a key role as a team member, ensuring an enhanced client experience and assisting with non-clinical duties. Your role will include:
• Work collaboratively with the teams during mealtimes preparing for the meal, serving the clients, assisting with hydration and nutrition, and cleaning up after meals.
• Engage and support clients in getting to know other clients and orienting them upon move-in, perform light house-keeping tasks and provide general support to clients to reduce isolation and enhance their quality of life. How do I qualify? Required:
• Completion of High School Diploma
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with the senior population
• Fluent in French and English (Candidates who do not meet this language requirement are eligible to apply for this position and may be considered if there are no other suitable applicants who meet this requirement). What skills should I possess to succeed in the role?
