Partnerships are a key lever in building competitive advantages that support Almaâs ambition to become the European market leader. Our Strategic Partnerships Managers play a pivotal, partnerâfacing role. You will also manage and expand topâtier partnerships (financial technology firms, eâcommerce platforms, pointâofâsale solutions) and drive business opportunities in a fastâmoving environment. Acting as the central point of contact, you will influence internal and external stakeholders, expand Almaâs reach, and create value for Alma, our partners, and our merchants. Reporting to the Strategic Partnerships Manager Lead, you will work closely with the Sales team, the Onboarding team, the Retail Training team and the Merchant Support team. This position is a permanent role, based in Paris. đŒ About the job In a nutshell, your
key responsibilities
will consist in:
âą Own and grow a portfolio of strategic partners: build, develop, and nurture longâterm, highâimpact relationships; lead initiatives that create new opportunities and drive revenue.
âą Set strategy and expand scope: manage expansion (new geographies, new use cases/features), optimize existing programs, and define the roadmap for joint projects.
âą Crossâfunctional leadership and negotiation: align Product, Sales, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Regulatory, etc. to shape valueâadd operating models; build business cases and negotiate/close contracts.
âą Endâtoâend execution: drive partnership initiatives from idea to validation, launch, and scale; coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout.
âą Performance management: define KPIs/OKRs, monitor results, surface insights, and implement improvements.
âą Partner enablement and activation: ensure partners are equipped to market, sell, and support Alma; create playbooks and internal enablement materials; share best practices.
âą Joint goâtoâmarket and growth: design and run partnerâled and partnerâassisted GTM plans, including coâmarketing and coâselling programs that accelerate commercial outcomes.
âą Representation and relationship stewardship: be the single point of contact (SPOC); represent Alma to the partner and the partner within Alma; cultivate a dynamic partner community and longâterm, trusted relationships.

âą 4/5+ yearsâ experience in consulting, project/program management, partnerships, complex sales, or similar roles in fintech, eâcommerce, or other fastâpaced/highâgrowth environments.
âą Fluency in English and French.
âą Strong commercial instinct and business acumen.
âą Fluency with data; able to extract insights and deliver compelling partner presentations.
âą Proven ability to manage multiple complex stakeholders and partners in parallel.
âą Track record leading crossâfunctional projects with high attention to detail. And it will be nice if you also are a
âą Great communicator and relationshipâbuilder: excellent written and presentation skills; you craft compelling value propositions and engage stakeholders effectively.
