Company Overview Siemens Digital Industries Software is a leading provider of solutions for the design, simulation, and manufacture of products across many different industries. Formula 1 cars, skyscrapers, ships, space exploration vehicles, and many of the objects we see in our daily lives are being conceived and manufactured using our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software. Start your career with the Strategic Student Program (SSP) The Strategic Student Program is our formal internship program globally. You will be mentored by guides and again invaluable professional experience. At Siemens, SSP interns get access to an international student network and community, career development opportunities with professional growth pathways, comprehensive practical training throughout the program, access to the Siemens Learning Hub and other training materials, and the opportunity to collaborate on exciting projects within a global, diverse team.  Topic: Integration of a fitting process in a generic application framework supporting tools in Simcenter Amesim. Position Overview There are many physics tools available in Simcenter Amesim, in various domains. In the context of standardizing them, easing the necessary checks and decreasing maintenance efforts, a generic platform-agnostic framework has been developed, in python. The goal is to provide basic bricks as well as a predefined and robust architecture, assembling them to easily define a tool and its behavior. The framework still lacks some key processes so that it can be more widely spread among existing tools. Among these processes, the possibility to propose a “fitting/calibration feature” within the framework could help a lot with the transition. You will be mentored by experienced guides, gain invaluable professional experience, and access our international student network, comprehensive training resources, and exciting collaborative projects within a global, diverse team.

Key Responsibilities
• Assess the existing python framework
• Conduct a gathering of existing tools using a “fitting/calibration” among four different teams
• Understand the needs, the specificities and extract common grounds
• Propose an integrated solution of the “fitting” feature within the framework
• Translate at least one existing tool to the new framework This 4 to 6-month internship is based in Villeurbanne, near Lyon (69), and starts from January 2027. Qualifications Currently pursuing higher education in engineering (BAC+4 or BAC+5) in France, with focus on software development, mathematical

skills:
• Knowledge of design patterns, clean code rules
