Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Lab Test Means Integration Engineer (f/m) to join our team based in Toulouse, France. You will join the Flight and Integration Test Centre responsible for developing and deploying instrumentation components for test rigs. You will drive the testing and deployment of components across test facilities to support avionics programs. • Prepare, execute, and document hardware/software testing and deployment activities for components.
• Define technical deliverables and manage purchase orders for subcontracted test and deployment activities.
• Update the test matrix and proactively escalate associated project risks and opportunities.
• Perform defect analysis, test bug fixes, and suggest improvements for the integration test bench.
• Harmonize test procedures and ways of working with test facilities in Filton, Hamburg, and Bremen. Your boarding pass:
• Background in Engineering or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of experience in lab test means or instrumentation.
• Strong knowledge of test system mechanical and electrical interfaces (racks, connectors, cabling).
• Solid understanding of standard avionics protocols and signals (A429, AFDX, discretes, analog, CAN).
• Foundational IT skills (networking, computing machines, cybersecurity rules) and basic programming knowledge.
