The Role We're looking for a Product Lead to:
• Own our Cities & Critical Infrastructure vertical end to end, from strategy to execution.
• Make Citadel the platform every European city and critical infrastructure operator relies on for video intelligence.
• Turn the complexity of large deployments (hundreds to thousands of cameras, multiple VMS providers, real-time alerts, forensic investigations, strict regulation) into a simple product and a scalable business. This is not a traditional Product Manager role. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will run the vertical like your own business: understand the market, choose the problems that matter, set priorities, work directly with customers and users in the field, and drive execution with Engineering and AI teams. Our ambition is continental from the start: Citadel deployed in every city, transport network, energy site, airport and port in Europe. Your job is to get us there. Responsibilities Vertical Ownership:
• Define the path to European coverage: which countries, segments and use cases to win first, and how to expand from there
• Set the strategy, goals and success metrics for Cities & Critical Infrastructure
• Decide where Orasio should invest and which user segments and problems create the most value
• Make explicit trade-offs, prioritize ruthlessly, and take responsibility for outcomes across teams
• Identify opportunities proactively rather than waiting for requests Product Management:
• Spend significant time with operators, investigators, security teams, infrastructure managers and decision-makers to understand how they actually work
• Solve the highest-value problems rather than implementing customer-specific requests
• Translate complex operational needs into clear requirements and intuitive workflows
• Work closely with Design, Engineering, Machine Learning, Platform, Sales and Deployment teams, and be comfortable discussing architecture, APIs, CV pipelines, VMS integrations, latency and GPU capacity
• Build for scale: multi-camera investigations, real-time alerting, search, ingestion, mapping, permissions and auditability, turning lessons from individual deployments into reusable capabilities
• Treat reliability and performance as product features Outcomes & Compliance:
• Measure adoption, user satisfaction, investigation time saved, alert quality and system performance
• Keep iterating until the expected outcome is achieved, not just until the feature ships
• Build security, privacy, auditability, GDPR and the EU AI Act into every product decision
• Work with senior public-sector and enterprise stakeholders while staying close to end users Ideal Profile 5+ years of experience in demanding technology environments, including:
• Significant experience owning a product, company or major product area end to end
• A track record of creating structure from ambiguity and making decisions with incomplete information
• Strong product judgment and the ability to explain clearly why something should or shouldn't be built
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to work directly with engineers and ML teams
• Experience launching products and iterating quickly based on real user feedback
• Fluency in English and French
• Willingness to travel regularly to customers across Europe.
• Eligibility for the required security clearances, including NATO levels. Bonus: entrepreneurial experience, zero-to-one product building, AI/computer vision, hardware/edge computing, or experience in cities, transport, energy, public safety, or defense
