Could you be the full-time Digital Maintenance Engineer in our Maintenance Digitalisation team we’re looking for? Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your analytical and engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside innovative, detail-oriented, and collaborative teammates. You'll act as the bridge between the Maintenance world and the Data domain, identifying optimisation opportunities and implementing them through the use of digital technologies. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as Maintenance Operations, Fleet Support Centers, and Regional Service Engineering), master digital tools, and drive the deployment of new processes from conception to adoption. You’ll specifically take care of creating and maintaining an inventory of digital rules and reports, but also support training programs to enable regional resources to fully utilise digital maintenance tools. We’ll look to you for:
• Mastering digital tools like HealthHub, TrainScanner, Track Tracer, and others to support maintenance projects.
• Understanding maintenance operations, lifecycle costs (LCC), and depot planning to identify optimisation opportunities.
• Developing and maintaining an inventory of HealthHub rules and reports, ensuring their effectiveness and traceability.
• Creating “starter packs” for new Rolling Stock Maintenance projects to adopt best practices.
• Managing and delivering a training curriculum to regional teams, ensuring content is relevant and impactful.
• Supporting value assessment and tracking benefits achieved through digital tool deployments.
• Assisting with the roll-out of methodologies and supporting trained regional resources. All about you We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
• Degree in Engineering, Master of Science, or equivalent.
• Experience or understanding of maintenance industry needs and operational constraints.
• Knowledge of Rolling Stock or Railway Signaling products/subsystems.
• Familiarity with condition-based maintenance (CBM) and prognostics and health monitoring (PHM).
• A proactive, autonomous, and challenge-driven mindset.
• Detail-oriented and solution-driven work ethic.
