Senior Acoustic Engineer

Build. Ship. Adapt. Out of range, the drone has only its own sensors and its own judgment. You build the whole chain, from data gathered at sea to models running on board, from acoustic and visual perception to autonomous decisions, from a single drone to a swarm. You judge every model by its mission impact, from the research bench to the deck. Keywords:...

Build. Ship. Adapt. With hundreds of drones and sensors at sea, software is how an operator understands what is happening and commands the fleet. You build the platform that runs our autonomous fleets, from the server to the operator's screen, with data flows that hold in the most hostile environments. You build your own tools, match the best platform teams...

Build. Ship. Adapt. In every conflict, the link is the first target, and without it the chain of command breaks. You design how our fleets talk, with encrypted links, software-defined mesh networks and the discretion to stay unheard under jamming and spoofing. You want to break the curse of subsea communications, and you adapt in days when the field...

Build. Ship. Adapt. At sea, the mechanical parts are usually the first to fail. You design and prototype the motors, transmissions, seals and structures of our drones, fast, and carry them to the production line. You find the fix that works by nightfall, and you know the best part is the one easiest to build, repair and make by the thousand. Keywords: CAD,...

Build. Ship. Adapt. Under the surface, GNC is what makes a mission possible. You design the guidance, navigation and control of our drones, from dynamic models and SIL / HIL simulation to tuning at sea. You bring a drone back to its recovery point, to the meter, through blind environments and rough seas. Keywords: control laws, state estimation, Kalman...

Build. Ship. Adapt. Our drones spend weeks at sea, so the electronics inside them can’t fail. You design the electronics of our drones, from the overall architecture to high-end sensors built from scratch, from schematic to validated board. You rework boards by hand to iterate in hours, then take the same board to high-volume production. Keywords: PCB...
