Overall Mission As a Process Engineer, you will contribute to industrial projects and tenders across the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other hygienic industries. You will be responsible for process design and technical follow-up, contributing to the successful delivery of projects from the pre-sales stage through to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Design & Technical Expertise
• Develop process solutions, including PFDs, P&IDs, equipment lists and specifications, process descriptions, KPIs, utility requirements, etc.
• Perform design calculations, including pipe sizing, pump sizing and thermal calculations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, contractual and internal requirements.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of technical deliverables. Safety & Environment
• Integrate safety, regulatory and environmental requirements throughout all design phases.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments and other relevant reviews. Coordination & Teamwork
• Participate in technical meetings with customers and suppliers.
• Support and collaborate with other teams, including Purchasing, Mechanical Engineering, Automation/Electrical Engineering, Installation and Commissioning.
• Contribute to installation, acceptance testing and start-up activities.
• Support the transfer of information to the Aftermarket team. Documentation
• Prepare operating instructions.
• Prepare operation and maintenance manuals and contribute to regulatory technical documentation. Pre-Sales Support
• Participate in pre-contract meetings.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site surveys and technical analyses of proposals. Candidate Profile Technical Skills & Experience
• Engineering degree in Process, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in design within the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and/or hygienic industries.
• Experience working within and leading a technical team.
• Knowledge of hygienic design principles and CIP systems.
• Good command of standard office software; knowledge of AutoCAD and SAP would be an advantage. Personal Skills
• Fluent English.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, with initiative and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects within a matrix organization.
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
