Company Description ElephAi.health® is a preventive emotional intelligence platform designed to support parents and families through conception, pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. The platform addresses the under-detection of maternal mental health conditions by offering continuous, structured emotional insights between clinical visits. Powered by the proprietary Layered Feeling Intelligence (LFI) engine—Coherence, Presence, and Safety—ElephAi surfaces early emotional patterns and provides psychologically safe, non-diagnostic support. It complements, rather than replaces, clinical care by giving health professionals an ongoing view of emotional wellbeing. ElephAi combines validated clinical screenings, trauma-aware micro-interventions, emotional regulation tools, and an always-on safety channel to route real risk to human responders.
Role Description This is a remote, volunteer role for a Research Psychologist PhD at ElephAi.health®. The Research Psychologist will help design, evaluate, and refine evidence-based frameworks that underpin the LFI engine and related emotional support features. Day-to-day tasks may include developing research protocols, analyzing user and clinical data (in de-identified or ethically appropriate forms), and assessing the validity and reliability of measures and interventions. The role involves collaborating with product, clinical, and engineering teams to translate psychological theories into practical, trauma-aware micro-interventions and screening workflows. The Research Psychologist will also contribute to publication efforts, ethical oversight, and continuous improvement of maternal and parental mental health support within the platform.
