About The Role
What if your expertise in advanced mathematics could directly shape how AI reasons through complex problems — influencing the tools that millions of researchers, engineers, and students will rely on? We're looking for Mathematics Researchers with graduate-level credentials to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models. You'll craft and solve challenging problems, stress-test AI reasoning, and ensure mathematical rigour across a range of advanced topics — from abstract algebra to applied statistics. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for people who think deeply about mathematics and want their expertise to have real-world impact beyond academia. What You'll Do
Develop, solve, and critically review advanced mathematical problems with real-world relevance Apply graduate-level expertise in algebra, calculus, statistics, discrete mathematics, or related areas to design rigorous, complex problem sets Evaluate AI-generated mathematical reasoning for correctness, depth, and clarity Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to improve model performance Ensure mathematical rigour, precision, and conceptual clarity across all deliverables Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule Who You Are Holds a Master's or PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field Deep, working expertise in one or more of: algebra, calculus, statistics, or discrete mathematics Comfortable coding in Python, MATLAB, or Mathematica for research or problem-solving Exceptional written communicator — you can explain complex ideas with precision and clarity Naturally detail-oriented with a rigorous, methodical approach to mathematical work Currently based in the U.
S., Canada, U.
