• Our human mission is to support our consultants in their personal and professional development Project Context: We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to contribute to the development and modernization of enterprise data platforms in the Basel region. You will work with data engineers, analysts and business stakeholders to design scalable data pipelines and ensure the availability, reliability and quality of data across the organization. Your
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines.
• Integrate data from multiple applications, databases and external sources.
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes.
• Contribute to cloud-based data platform development.
• Implement data quality controls, monitoring and automated workflows.
• Optimize data processing performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to deliver accessible, trustworthy datasets. Key
Skills:
• Strong experience with SQL and Python.
• Experience designing and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of Databricks, Apache Spark or similar data processing technologies.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory or comparable orchestration tools.
• Understanding of data lakes, data warehouses and modern data architectures.
• Experience with Delta Lake, Git or CI/CD for data pipelines is an advantage.
Your Profile
• 3+ years of experience in Data Engineering or data platform development.
• Strong analytical mindset and interest in data architecture.
• Ability to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Fluent English; German is an advantage.
• Based in Switzerland or willing to work in the Basel region. Speak soon
