Hexaly is a fast-growing software company in Mathematical Optimization, also known as Operations Research or Decision Science. The team develops Hexaly Optimizer, an ultra-fast hybrid optimization solver, and Hexaly Studio, an innovative low-code platform for building optimization apps in days. Additionally, Hexaly provides turnkey optimization applications through its professional services. With strong growth and profitability, Hexaly serves 400 client companies worldwide, including Amazon, FedEx, Procter & Gamble, Starbucks, Nvidia, TotalEnergies, Airbus, Renault, Bosch, and Sony.
We have several Operations Research Scientist positions open until the end of 2026.
Your job
You are part of the Hexaly R&D team. Daily, you:
Develop new features, algorithm improvements, and fix bugs in Hexaly Optimizer;
Provide Hexaly users with dedicated support and training;
Participate in Hexaly professional services, such as developing turnkey applications for clients.
Your profile
You have a Master's or Ph.
D. degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, or Applied Mathematics (university or engineering school); You love algorithms and coding; You have an eye for detail, you like a job well done, and you don't fear code reviews; You are very organized, can follow processes and practices carefully; You can listen and handle direct feedback on all that you do; You have a high degree of commitment to work and are not afraid of change; You possess excellent written and oral communication skills in English. In the first weeks, we will coach you intensively to deepen your understanding of Hexaly's products and to acquire Hexaly's software development best practices. Your perks and benefits Annual gross salary between €42,000 and €62,000, depending on profile and experience, plus various advantages (RTT, excellent healthcare insurance, lunch, public transportation, coffee and tea, etc.).
