Paris, France Employment Type: Permanent Hybrid: 3 days per week on-site Relocation & Sponsorship: Available We are seeking a Senior Murex MLC / ERM Risk Control Consultant to support a major MX.3 implementation or upgrade programme. The role requires a strong Murex consultant with hands-on experience across MLC, ERM, Credit Risk and Risk Control, with the ability to work autonomously across configuration, stream delivery and client support activities. The consultant will support the MLC module in the context of Credit Risk and Risk Control solutions within MX.3, working closely with client stakeholders, project teams and Murex delivery teams to analyse requirements, configure solutions and support delivery across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead or support stream activities across the Murex MLC module within an ERM / Risk Control implementation or upgrade project.
• Configure and support Credit Risk and Risk Control solutions within MX.3.
• Work with client teams to understand business requirements and translate them into Murex configuration and functional solutions.
• Support front office understanding of risk processes, exposures and downstream impacts.
• Configure, test and validate Murex risk-control functionality in line with project requirements.
• Support implementation and upgrade activity across the full delivery lifecycle.
• Work autonomously as a senior consultant, managing assigned tasks and client-facing deliverables.
• Provide functional and technical analysis across Murex risk and credit-control processes.
• Support testing, issue investigation, defect resolution and production readiness activities.
• Collaborate with business users, project managers, technical teams and Murex stakeholders.
• Document configuration, functional design, testing outcomes and project deliverables where required. Required Skills
• Strong experience with Murex MX.3.
• Hands-on experience with MLC.
• Experience across ERM, Credit Risk, Risk Control or Risk Management within Murex.
• Ability to conduct stream activities on the MLC module in the context of Credit Risk / Risk Control implementation or upgrade projects.
• Good understanding of Front Office processes and how they interact with risk-control frameworks.
• Experience working on Murex implementation, enhancement or upgrade projects.
• Ability to build and configure Murex solutions independently.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Good understanding of XML and Unix environments.
• Ability to work with client stakeholders and project teams in a delivery-focused environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to operate autonomously as a senior Murex consultant.
