About Thunders is an agentic solution for automated testing in natural language. Founded in January 2025, we’ve already raised $9M to accelerate our mission : making software testing faster, smarter, and effortless. Our fast-growing team of 30+ people brings together experts in AI, product, and quality engineering to reinvent how testing is done. Today, testing is still one of the biggest bottlenecks in software delivery. With the rise of AI-generated code, test volumes are exploding yet testing remains slow, fragile, and often disconnected from what really matters to the business. Thunders changes the game. Our solution automatically generates and runs test plans in natural language, powered by specialized agents (accessibility, UX, performance, SEO…). The result: autonomous, intelligent tests that adapt to your product and keep up with your pace. 👉 Learn more at www.thunders.ai ⚡️

• Team: Hire, lead, and develop a small, high-performing AI engineering team, with regular feedback and performance reviews.
• Execution: Run the team’s rituals (triage, spec reviews, retros) and an OKR process that ties individual and team goals to measurable impact.
• Reliability and LLMOps: Define and operate our LLMOps stack (evals, observability, cost control) and set the reliability and scalability targets for our systems.
• Culture: Build a collaborative, ethical, and psychologically safe team that lives our principles: Bias for Action, Frugality, Have Backbone; Disagree and Commit. Preferred Experience What you bring
• 8+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years building LLM/agent systems in production
• Experience leading and growing an AI engineering team (ideally 4-10 people), including hiring and performance management

• A “production-first” mindset: observability, evals, failure modes, SLOs
• You still write code and unblock your team directly
• Experience running engineering rituals and OKRs that link team goals to measurable impact
• Professional English (French is a plus)
• You use AI tools every day, for everything Nice to have
• LLMOps ownership (evals, prompt/model versioning, cost monitoring)
