We are looking for a OpenShift Engineer for one of our customer who has an expertise in:
- Essential technical expertise
• OpenShift/Kubernetes (at least 2 experiments, OpenShift essential): cluster architecture, operators, network, storage, security, administration and lifecycle; industrialization around clusters.
• IaC applied to PaaS: Terraform and/or Ansible; provisioning, configuration, day-2 operations, common components; Repeatable workflows for provisioning clusters/environments.
• CI/CD: automation pipelines (Tekton a major plus), quality checks, security, validation, promotion.
• Operations / SRE: availability, observability, standardization, operability; Design a platform product that can be consumable by other teams. Transversal skills
• Standards reusable in an industrialized environment; Git/GitOps, code review, code quality and security.
• Formalization: templates, patterns, contribution guides, operating playbooks.
• Support for the development of internal skills and the empowerment of teams. Appreciated: GitOps, Argo CD, day-2 OpenShift, Vault / secrets management, internal self-service platform. Soft
skills:
pedagogy and role of coach/facilitator; listening and adapting to the maturity of the squads; spirit of synthesis; ability to challenge without imposing; Pragmatism and result-orientedness. Expected deliverables
• Target model for the industrialization of cluster delivery
• Templates / pipelines / provisioning workflows
• Input/output/validation standards
• Operating documentation
• Recommendations for Cluster Lifecycle Standardization
• Support for the PaaS squad in increasing robustness
