Responsibilities:
• Build a new ESG operational platform replacing legacy systems.
• Maintain existing solutions with the Investment Engineering team.
• Oversee delivery, architecture, and implementation standards for projects.
• Translate user workflows and business rules into specifications and mock-ups.
• Engage in specification-driven and AI-assisted frontend development.
• Conduct code quality reviews and ensure maintainability.
• Integrate data within the FOLAB team’s Synapse environment.
• Prepare views for reporting layers like Power BI and SSRS.
• Develop SQL queries and T-SQL stored procedures.

Requirements:
• 2+ years of frontend development experience using React and TypeScript.
• Experience in translating workflows and business rules into functional specifications.
• Ability to understand the user's perspective and identify edge cases.
• Hands-on experience with specification-driven and AI-assisted development.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD testing, and Azure environments.
• Strong organization, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Motivation to learn about ESG and investment management.
• Experience with SQL, TSQL, Pyspark, and Synapse environment. Nice to Have:
• Experience in ESG, asset management, or financial research.
• Backend development knowledge in Python and APIs.
• Understanding enterprise information-service constraints. Other Details:
• Team Structure: Collaboration with the ESG Quantitative Analytics team and Investment Engineering team.
• Environment: Utilizes Azure and enterprise development practices.
• Project Context: Focus on ESG operational platform and maintaining legacy systems.
