Hundreds of engineers across fifteen tribes ship to production every day, and peak traffic doesn’t wait for anyone. Our Developer Experience team builds the platform they all ship on: CI/CD, runners, the internal developer portal, and the practices and guardrails that come with them. We’re a small team with a large surface. That means real ownership rather than tickets, and it’s why we’re looking for senior engineers who can take a product and run with it. When we do our job well, a developer goes from idea to production without ever thinking

about us
. YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC đŸ”„ You’ll own internal products used by every engineer in the company. Concretely:
‱ Build and run the CI/CD platform. GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, elastic capacity that scales with demand without burning the budget.
‱ Write the code. Integration components around GitHub, Jira, monitoring, code analysis. We build, we don’t just configure.
‱ Make security invisible. Supply chain, secrets, scanning, quality gates, all in the default path, so nobody has to think about them.
‱ Shape how we use AI. Agentic workflows are in production here. We test, validate and iterate fast in a space that changes every month. What works gets turned into practice for everyone.
‱ Work directly with the tribes. You’ll know the teams you build for, hear where they lose time, and let that shape what you build next.
‱ Measure everything. We measure delivery across the whole company, so you can tell whether your work actually made teams faster.
‱ Practise what we recommend. TDD, automated tests, continuous deployment, observability. On our own products first. Technical environment
‱ Cloud & IaC: AWS, Azure, Terraform, Kubernetes
‱ CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Dagger, SonarQube, Artifactory
‱ AI tooling: GitHub agentic workflows, AI coding assistants
‱ Developer portal: Backstage
‱ Security: Wiz, DefectDojo, Xray, Curation
‱ Languages: Python, Rust, Go
‱ Runtime: Docker, Lambda, Fargate, Container Apps, Serverless
‱ Observability: Datadog
‱ Practices: everything-as-code, TDD, trunk-based development, continuous deployment, DORA WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 🔍 We’re looking for curious, kind people who like making other engineers faster. This is a senior role. This job is for you if:
‱ You have several years of experience building and running production infrastructure, and you’ve been the person others come to when it breaks
‱ You know CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure well, and you code comfortably in at least one language
‱ You’ve worked on developer tooling or platform engineering, or you’ve been the person in a product team who ended up owning the pipelines because you cared
‱ You learn more from watching someone struggle with your tool than from a ticket describing it
‱ You consider a tool finished when people use it, not when it ships, which means convincing them, not just building it
‱ You already work with AI: coding assistants, agents, automation. You know what it speeds up and what it quietly breaks
‱ You want to shape how a whole company uses it, not just your own workflow
