Puteaux (Paris area), France + Offshore Assignments 📅 Start Date: ASAP ⏳ Duration: 12 months 🏢 Industry: Oil & Gas / Offshore Engineering About Arkios ARKIOS is an engineering consultancy specializing in supporting complex industrial projects, particularly within the Energy and Oil & Gas sectors. For a major international offshore project, we are currently looking for an experienced Lead Pre-Commissioning Engineer to oversee engineering studies and the preparation of pre-commissioning operations for subsea infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with the project team and the client, you will be responsible for coordinating technical pre-commissioning activities. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Lead pre-commissioning engineering activities for offshore pipelines and subsea infrastructure.
• Plan and coordinate flooding, cleaning, gauging, pigging, and hydrotesting operations.
• Supervise ballasting and deballasting activities, as well as testing and monitoring of subsea equipment.
• Review technical specifications and participate in engineering reviews and risk assessments.
• Prepare pre-commissioning procedures, execution plans, and technical specifications for subcontractors.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and offshore operational teams.
• Prepare the mobilization of equipment required for offshore operations.
• Provide technical support to offshore personnel during execution.
• Act as a technical interface with the client throughout the engineering and execution phases.
• Contribute to technical and commercial proposals. Required Qualifications & Experience
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• Proven experience in pre-commissioning engineering for offshore pipelines and subsea infrastructure.
• Strong technical knowledge of pigging, hydrotesting, flooding, cleaning, and gauging operations.
• Ability to lead engineering activities and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Solid understanding of offshore operations and Oil & Gas projects.
• Fluent English is mandatory, both written and spoken. Mandatory Offshore Certifications:
• BOSIET + CA-EBS (OPITO certified).
