Semarchy is the modern data management company. The Semarchy Data Platform (SDP) — our AI-driven MDM and governance platform built for DataOps — ensures the rapid delivery of trusted, governed data products at scale, so businesses can easily find, understand, and consume the data they need. With a proven record of customer success, Semarchy helps customers meet the growth in demand for accurate, trusted data and drive the success of data-focused initiatives like AI, Customer 360, and more.
Founded in 2011, Semarchy has an international presence spanning the United States, the United Kingdom, France, India and Mauritius.
Our platform serves technical and business users working with complex data models, workflows, and governance constraints—clarity and usability are non-negotiable.
Location:
France (ideally near Paris or Lyon), with up to 15% customer travel. Why we are hiring Semarchy is building a Professional Services practice that owns implementation from scoping through go-live, so customers reach value faster. PS owns time-to-first value, then hands off to Technical Account Management, which drives adoption. As Manager of Professional Services for EMEA, you will run day-to-day delivery across the region with internal consultants and subcontracted partners, close enough to the work to join a scoping call or recover a project that has gone off track. What you'll own
• Lead and develop the EMEA delivery team. Hire, coach, and develop solution architects, data engineers, and project managers, and run regular project reviews.
• Run delivery to a consistent standard. Hold every engagement, internal or partner-led, to Semarchy's delivery methodology, step in early when one drifts, and resolve escalations.
• Own SOWs and change requests for the region. Create, review, and approve SOWs, change requests, and proposals, with estimates the team can deliver and a forecast leadership can rely on.
• Own capacity and utilization in EMEA. Staff projects across internal consultants and subcontracted partners, onboard partners to Semarchy's standards, and keep utilization and margin on target.
• Operate as one team. Partner with Sales on scoping, with Technical Account Management on the handoff to adoption, and with PS leadership in the Americas on shared methodology and tools. What you'll bring
• 6+ years in Professional Services or consulting in enterprise software, with 2+ years leading delivery teams.
• Hands-on delivery experience in master data management, data integration, or modern data platforms.
• Experience writing SOWs and estimates, and managing utilization, forecast, and margin.
• Experience managing subcontracted or partner delivery resources.
• Fluent French and English, written and spoken.
• A bias toward time-to-first value and delivery quality. Nice to have
• Prior experience at a systems integrator or specialized data consultancy.
• Experience with Semarchy xDM or SDP, or with platform-to-platform MDM migrations.
• Cloud data platform certifications (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Bachelor's or Master's in a technical discipline. Benefits and Culture
• Great flexibility: work from home or from our Lyon office, you also have the possibility to work from abroad 2 weeks / year
• Competitive salary
• Great health insurance, free for your family members
• Personal-growth support: on-line courses, conferences, books… training is key at Semarchy: you will attend training classes on a regular basis
• Work-life balance: we are very attentive to our teams’ well-being and insist on making sure you have a good balance between your personal and professional life; Semarchy has a specific Parenthood Charter
