Video Annotation Specialist (AI Training)
About The Role
What if your sharp eye for visual detail could directly shape how AI understands the world through video? This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with strong visual attention and a methodical approach to work. No professional video or AI experience required — just a reliable internet connection, a keen eye, and a commitment to quality.

Remote
• Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
• Segment video content into individual shots and scenes with precision
• Annotate camera angles, shot sizes, camera movement, and on-screen action
• Apply structured labels and tags using predefined classification categories
• Flag ambiguous transitions, unclear shots, or content that falls outside standard guidelines
• Maintain consistent speed and accuracy across high-volume annotation tasks
• Complete task-based assignments independently on your own schedule Who You Are
• Naturally detail-oriented with a sharp eye for subtle visual differences
• Comfortable working in web-based labeling tools or structured spreadsheets
• Able to stay consistent and accurate across repetitive, methodical tasks
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision
• Genuinely interested in video, film, or visual media — even casually
• No professional video production or AI experience required Nice to Have
• Background in film, photography, media studies, or visual arts
• Experience with data annotation, content tagging, or quality assurance workflows
• Familiarity with video editing software or media players
• Prior exposure to AI training datasets or annotation platforms Why Join Us

• Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
• Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work
• Contribute to AI development that shapes how technology perceives and understands visual media
• Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
