Engineer in protein characterization We are an innovative biotech company specializing in the development of next-generation therapeutics (single-domain antibodies, siRNA, LNP… etc.). Our agile and passionate R&D team works on cutting-edge projects in immunology, oncology, and rare diseases. Job Summary We are seeking a candidate who will work in the protein production team to develop, optimize, and validate the quality of the produced batches, but also analyze their biophysical properties. This position involves hands-on laboratory work, data analysis, and close collaboration with cross-functional R&D teams.

Responsibilities:
• Perform bioanalytical assays such as UPLC/HPLC, Bio-layer Interferometry (BLI), Homogeneous time resolved FRET (HTRF), Thermal Shift Assay (TSA), DLS, SDS-PAGE.
• Maintain our equipment in good condition and ensure their maintenance is tracked.
• Conduct laboratory experiments, resolve technical issues, and ensure the generation of high-quality data.
• Analyze and interpret generated datas; draft summary reports and communicate results to the team leader.
• Contribute to the drafting of protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and validation reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards. Required

Qualifications:
• Master’s degree, engineering degree, in bioanalysis or biophysicist field.
• Proven experience (4 to 6 years) in an analytical, characterization or protein production platform.
• Previous experience in a biotech environment is a plus.
• Proficiency in HPLC data generation and interpretation and Bio-layer interferometry.
• Ability to interpret and present non-clinical data clearly and concisely.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong team spirit, flexibility, and ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems, prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and conduct experiments independently within set deadlines.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently, as part of a multidisciplinary team, and with external partners.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including in English.
• Proficiency in office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Why work with us?
