About The Job At Danone, our commitment to manufacturing the highest quality products and meeting market demand is a fundamental driver for our plant teams. We are currently seeking a Project Engineer for our Engineering Central team. In this role, you will be part of the European Engineering Team and be responsible for supporting strategic, operational, and policy-related aspects of the various Plant-Based sites in France, with a focus on safety, quality, performance, management, and organizational objectives. You will be responsible for multiple capital projects across plants, overseeing technical execution, timeline management, and financial oversight for each project. You will be based in Rueil-Malmaison, with regular business travel to our French factories. Most travel will be to our Issenheim site, with additional travel to other PB factories depending on project needs and priorities. The duration of each assignment will depend on the scope of the project. Job Responsibilities
• Project execution of projects up to 5 M€ or part of complex scope project (Processing, Packaging, Building and Utility)
• Work with Engineering Manager Dairy France to align on project priorities and budget for each project
• Work with CAPEX controller to manage the capital forecast and execution.
• Coordinate and lead cross functional team
• Create, design and evaluate initial call for tender documents with the Engineering Manager Dairy France.
• Work with Regional Engineering teams during bidding processes and technical alignment
• Work with the CAPEX procurement team to align on priorities and contract negotiations Job Qualifications
• Experience and working knowledge in
• Dairy process engineering and PMO
• Manufacturing plant utility systems
• Must be organized and self-disciplined to accommodate the management of concurrent projects
• Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills About you Experience And Education Requirement
• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering, Science or relevant degree from an accredited College or University
• 5 years of relevant Manufacturing and or Engineering experience required, preferably in CPG beverage/food manufacturing
• fluency in English and French
